Roma, 2 novembre 2016 – Alfa 1977, azienda italiana produttrice di forni e barbecue, si prepara alla stagione outdoor 2017 con un catalogo completamente rinnovato. Prima novità fra tutte il lancio sul mercato di Toto, il nuovissimo grilloven che reinterpreta il concetto di cucina all’aperto grazie alla sua multifunzionalità e a un design unico e accattivante.
Progettato per trasformare l’outdoor cooking in un’esperienza quotidiana grazie alla sua semplicità d’uso, velocità in accensione e praticità, Toto è un’isola “all in one device” che permette di cucinare all’aperto in ogni stagione dell’anno. D’estate un compagno di serate tra amici, d’inverno una calda cucina da esterno per i pranzi in famiglia. La sua capacità di accendersi a legna, oltre che a carbonella, ne consente l’utilizzo anche nelle giornate più fredde – caratteristica che, a causa delle alte temperature del combustibile, difficilmente i barbecue tradizionali offrono.
Ideato, progettato e prodotto interamente in-house, Toto unisce un forno tradizionale con piano in materiale refrattario a un barbecue multifunzione, utilizzando acciai di spessore elevato per una resistenza termica superiore.

Toto rappresenta a tutti gli effetti un’alternativa inedita ai classici barbecue, offrendo una nuova chiave di lettura all’outdoor cooking”.
A livello progettuale l’idea di Toto nasce dall’ambizione di superare lo stereotipo di barbecue, con la sua forma arrotondata verso il basso, integrandovi la cupola in acciaio, tratto distintivo dello stile Alfa 1977: il risultato è una proposta unica che unisce artigianalità e innovazione nel design e nella tecnologia. A integrare le due anime complementari del grilloven, il set di accessori inclusi – cook deck, griglia, grid lifter e grill burner – che offrono l’opportunità di cuocere contemporaneamente cibi saltati in padella, cotti su pietra ollare o grigliati: uno strumento che si adatta a ogni tipo di cottura.

Roma, November 2nd 2016 – Alfa 1977, italian ovens and bbqs producer gets ready for the 2017 outdoor season with a completely new catalogue. The first new item to be launched is Toto. This multifunctional grilloven changes the concept of outdoor cooking with the unique and beautiful design.
Designed to make outdoor cooking something we do everyday with its semplicity of use and speed in heating, Toto is an all in one device that unables outdoor cooking all year round. A staunch companion for evenings with friends in summer and a hot outdoor kitchen for family lunches in winter. Charcoal or wood-fired, it may be used even in the coldest days of the year, a feature that hardly barbecues powered with liquid fuels offer. Conceived, designed and entirely in-house manufactured, Toto combines the prerogatives of a classical refractory oven with those of a multifunctional barbecue by using thick steels with better heat resistance.

Projectwise, the idea of Toto begins with the ambition to overcome the stereotype of barbecue with its rounded bottom by integrating the steel dome, a distinctive trait of Alfa 1977 style; the end result is a product that combines craftsmanship with innovation, technology with design. To integrate the two complementary souls of the grilloven, the included set of tools, the cook deck, the grill, the grill lifter and the grill burner, offers the opportunity to stir-fry, grill or soapstone cooking.
